The Check-Out Line

The Check-Out Line is my submission to Ludum Dare 47. I completed this game between 10/02/20 and 10/04/20, in just over 48 hours. I added custom commissioned music on 10/05/20 before the end of the jam. Credit to Jordan Durant for the composition.

Theme: Stuck in a loop

The Check-Out Line is a second-person perspective interactive fiction/text adventure with light puzzle elements and heavy emphasis on story and atmosphere.

Step into line and get caught up in a story where not everything is as it seems. You'll have to get to the bottom of this.

Bugfix: Problem with puzzle later in the game preventing progression beyond that point. Resolved.
